Our Community Group will meet every other Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m., but some Wednesdays will be planned for outreach in the community.  We will meet at the Prescott's home in Urbandale or another member's home in our group.    

The purpose of this group is to explore discipleship based upon our study of the Word of God together. Jesus’s words in Matthew 28 serve as a foundation for our discussion and collective action. This group aims to equip and launch individuals to make disciples in our local community with the intent to strengthen and build up the church. This groups calls for individuals of all diverse backgrounds who are willing to embark upon such a journey—to know Christ, to enjoy Him, to walk with Him, to become more like Him, and to make disciples of all nations. 

Objectives of the group: 

1. To develop a hunger for the Word of God (Matt 5:6) and to know Him intimately (Philippians 3:10,11).

2. To study the Word of God among a community of believers with the intent to teach, encourage, exhort, equip one another to make disciples and to build the local church 
(Eph 3:10, 2 Timothy 3:16,17).

3. To foster authentic fellowship through prayer, study, worship—that evokes a call to action to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19)
